Who is Tom Gomes?

Tom Gomes is a Brazilian comic book artist, writer, editor, and illustrator. He has worked professionally for years with comic book publishers across the United States and Europe, contributing to the creation and editing of projects published internationally.

In Brazil, he has successfully published several graphic novels through crowdfunding campaigns and has become known for stories inspired by the cultures, histories, and traditions of Brazil’s Indigenous peoples. His most notable works include SAWE!, Isolda – The Song of the Sword, Corruption – Lord of the Cosmic Abyss, Decolonize Yourself, Icamiabas, and Invasion.

His work has received multiple award nominations. In 2026, he joined the jury of the World 100 Poster Masters Nomination Exhibition and the 6th International Artist Service Organization, an international initiative that brings together artists and exhibitions across China, Japan, South Korea, Russia, Singapore, and Mexico.

Beyond his work as a comic creator, Tom has developed educational methods designed to help artists build sustainable careers through their art. These include the CERC Method, CopyArt, CCIS, and the Emotional Framing Method, all created from the real-world experience of building an international career in illustration and comics.
